Information regarding applying and deadlines for application and allocation of places for students of the Medical College are available here: Division for Education and Academic Careers MC.

In order to receive a place in a dormitory during the round for a particular group of students fill in and register an appropriate form in USOSweb. It is not necessary to fill in the Income statement form and submit the printed application on paper.

Based on the year of studies that you are going to start in the academic year for which you are applying chose the right form in USOSweb, in the Common section tab > Applications:

  • Housing application for a place in a dormitory – senior students (without Medical College) – for JU students who continue their studies;

  • Housing application - freshmen year of second cycle studies (without Medical College) – for individuals who willstart their second-cycle studies from the new academic year, including foreign students who studied or took a course at the JU before;

  • Housing application – freshmen year of first cycle and long cycle studies (without Medical College) – for individuals who will start their first- or long-cycle studies from October, including foreign students who studied or took a course at the JU before;

  • Dormitory application – freshman-year foreigners only (not from MC) – for foreign students who are starting their studies at the JU from the upcoming academic year (despite the form – studies/course/summer school); individuals enrolled at the JU previously should chose other application (one of the above).

There is also an application for doctoral students available in the system – Housing application (JU PhD Students without CM) and for students and doctoral students of the Medical College as well.

Follow the instructions and questions displayed by the system during finning in an application. Each circumstance referred to by a student or a doctoral student should be confirmed by adding an attachment (in case of confirming of the distance from a place of residence it may be a print screen from Google Maps).

During filling in of an application a student may:

- chose and prioritize preferred dormitories (by firstly adding the dormitories to the list, and prioritizing them according to preference – from the most preferred one on the top to the least preferred one on the bottom);

- pick a dormitory in which does not want to stay (if a student will not add to the dormitory where does not want to stay to the basket, and will not get a place in the preferred dormitories, will not receive a place in any dormitory);

- chose individuals with which wants to share a room in a dormitory (suggestions will be taken into consideration if and only, if each of the chosen individuals will also chose: the student and each individual from the list of the student, as well as each individual will provide the same dormitories in the same order).
